You have the right at any time to information about the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR), to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) and to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, Alt-Moabit 59–61, 10555 Berlin, Germany.

3. Visiting the website (server log files)

When you visit this website your browser transmits technically necessary data which is recorded in server log files: the address requested, date and time, volume of data transferred, browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL and IP address.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the secure and stable operation of the website. This data is not merged with other data sources. It is deleted after 30 days at the latest unless required to investigate a specific security incident.

Hosting

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. Vercel processes the data named above on our behalf under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. Delivery is primarily from European locations; transfer to the USA cannot be entirely ruled out technically. Where it occurs, the transfer is based on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses pursuant to Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR.

4. Contact form and email

If you contact us via the contact form or by email we process the details you provide (first name, last name, email address, optionally your company, and your message) in order to handle your enquiry.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry is directed at entering into a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR based on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.

Form data is not stored on this website. It is forwarded to us directly as an email and then processed as part of our normal correspondence. We delete it once the enquiry has been dealt with conclusively and no statutory retention periods apply.

Email service provider

We use Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, 106 boulevard Haussmann, 75008 Paris, France) to send these emails. Brevo processes the form data on our behalf under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. Processing takes place within the European Union.

Protection against automated submissions

The form contains an additional field that is invisible to humans. If it is filled in we assume an automated submission and send nothing. No personal data is stored in the process and no third-party services are involved. No captcha is used.

5. Fonts

The fonts used are served from our own server. There is no connection to Google Fonts or any other external provider, and no data is transmitted to third parties.

6. Cookies and local storage

This website sets no cookies. If you switch the colour scheme (light or dark) manually, that choice is stored in your browser’s local storage. The entry remains solely on your device, is not transmitted to us and can be deleted at any time via your browser settings. The legal basis for this strictly necessary storage is section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG.

7. Links to external services

This website links to external services, including LinkedIn and tinobarth.eu. These are plain text links only; no third-party content is embedded and no data is transmitted to those providers unless you click the link. The respective provider is responsible for data processing on the linked pages.

8. No automated decision-making

No automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR takes place.
